RESTAURANT-STYLE PASTRIES
The Espaisucre Method

Duration: 11 months
Start: September
Days of attendance: Tuesday to Fridays
No. of students: 14 students per group
Schedule:
1st group   8.00 am - 11.00 am.
2nd group 12.00 am -  3.00 pm.
3rd. group   4.00 pm -  7.00 pm. 
Registration:  Open registration.

Description of the course - purpose:

The purpose of this course is to develop the ability to create restaurant-style pastries through training the student’s taste perception (with blind tasting of ingredients), and teaching them new techniques.
Theoretical-practical course (2 days theory + 2 days practice).

Requirements:

Students must be between 18 and 40 years old.
Students must understand and speak Spanish, since classes will be taught in this language.
Certain skills in baking may be an asset, although it is not indispensable.
Motivation, real interest real in the world of pastry-making, since it is a very intense course (11 months).

TRADITIONAL PASTRIES

Duration: 11 months
Start: September
Days of attendance: Mondays
No. of students: 14 students per group
Schedule: From 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm
Registration: Open registration.

OR

Duration: 11 months
Start: September
Days of attendance: Saturdays
No. of students: 14 students per group
Schedule: From 10am to 1pm
Registration: Open registration

Description of the course - purpose

Teaching the basic skills in traditional pastry: creams, meringues, sponge cakes, fermented dough, turrón  (traditional fudge-like or nougat-like candy with almonds, using chocolate…)

Requirements.

Minimum age 18.
Students must understand and speak Spanish, since classes will be taught in this language.
3- It is not necessary to have basic skills in pastry-making to be admitted in this course.
4-  Motivation, real interest real in the world of pastry-making, since it is a very intense course with a comprehensive agenda (11 months).
