June 29, 2012- Espaisucre opens the sweet tapas bar
It has opened in the restaurant Espaisucre sweet tapas bar.
June 26, 2012- Presentation of the new Freixenet cava
Freixenet has performed in school facilities Espaisucre, his new cava La Cuvée "Malvasia 2011", the first dessert cava.
Espaisucre offered to those attending the event, seven of sweet tapas that match the original cava of the Catalonian company.
May 31, 2012-Presentation of the Hugo Boss fragance

Jordi Butron and Xano Saguer attended the presentation of Alimentaria's Food gastronomic activities for this year 2012. The event was held at the old brewery Damm of Barcelona.
January 27, 2012- Next course Jordi Butrón in Basque Culinary Center- San Sebastián
The coming days 6 and 7 february, Jordi Butrón and Walter Vogt (creative team leader of Espaisucre School), taught an introductory course to restaurant pastry in the Basque Culinary Center Institute, in Sant Sebastián.
October 18, 2011- 3rd. Edition of "The Best Restaurant Dessert 2001" competition
Yesterday October 17 took place in the school premises, the 2nd edition of the competition "The Best restaurant Dessert 2011", which is held every two years.
This year's winners were Víctor Trochi, chef of Les Magnòlies (Arbùcies, Girona-Spain) restaurant, with the prize for best patissier 2011, and Ana Lucía Jarquín Cáceres, chef patissier of Àbac restaurant (Barcelona-Spain), with a prize dessert Nespresso.
The large influx of people we once again reinforces our claim to the importance of restaurant desserts.

August 27th to 29th,2010- Demonstration in the Mexico Congress
On 27, 28 and 29 August Xano Saguer held within the Congress "Fusion Mexico," two demonstrations. The first, on 28th: "Creating a restaurant dessert." The second, on 29th: "A Espaisucre dessert menu."
There will also be a symposium to be discussed on "contemporary Pastry."

On 29 and 30 June took place in the "Escuela Universitaria de Hotelería y Turismo"of Sant Pol de Mar (Barcelona) the first technical seminar for cooking teachers.
Xano Saguer gave the session "How to create, design and innovation desserts."

September 20, 2008- New quaterly Restaurant Pastry course
Given the high demand for courses, Espaisucre opened a new quarterly courses starting on 30 September with an introductory course to restauant pastry.
It plans to offer more courses of this type for the first quarter of 2009.
On 14th and 15th september 2008, there will be in New York the international congress "Starchefs.com". Jordi Butrón takes part with his demonstration called "a new language for the pastry of restaurant" with a dessert of his restaurant Espaisucre.
April 3, 2008- Presentation of the new book PH10 of Pierre Hermé
Today on April 3, 2008 there has been in CETT (Escola d'Hoteleria i Turisme) the presentacíón of the new book PH10 of Pierre Hermé. Jordi Butrón and Xano Saguer, of the dessert school -restaurant Espaisucre, attended to it as well as people of the gastronomic environment.
Jordi Butron's demonstration of the last dessert of Espaisucre restaurant. The event has taken place in Venice, in the gastronomic Congress "Gusto in Scena", on the 3rd., 4th, 5th March 2008.
On the 5th and 6th of february, it has celebrated in Toledo the 8ª semi-final of "El Cocinero del Año" contest. Xano Saguer did a demonstration supported by Debic company.

The 1st. edition "The best dessert of restaurant "competition, already has winner.One is Rafael Delgado, pastrycook of the restaurant Via Veneto of Barcelona, who won the prize to "The Best Dessert of Restaurant 2007. Sander Goosens and Roger Cama raised with the prizes " Creative dessert " and " Respect to the tradition " respectively.

Today 30th october in the new facilities of Espaisucre it has celebrated the presentation of the new book "Lúcido & Lúdico " of the prestigious chef Pierre Gagnaire (3* Michelin).

First Best Dessert of Restaurant Competition, realized in the new facilities of the school Espaisucre.
Octobrer 29, 2007- Inauguration of the new school facilities
Today 29th october, 2007, and agreeing with the 1st. edition of the international competition of desserts of restaurant " the best dessert of restaurant ", we have inaugurated the new facilities of the school, with new practical classrooms and library. This way Espaisucre will extend its education offer inside the world of the pastry shop of restaurant.
October 18, 2007- National prize of gastronomy 2006
Today, 18th october, Jordi Butrón has received the National Prize of Gastronomy 2006 to the best pastrycook-confectioner of Spain (Torreblanca prize).
The delivery and the later dinner it has been in the Teatro Real de Madrid.
October 9, 2007-Demonstration in the 6th semi-final of "Cocinero del Año" contest, II edition- Murcia

Jordi Butrón y Xano Saguer, from this July 2007, form a part of the team of the first Spanish agency of chefs, named "Chefservices" and created by the group Caterdata. They form a part of this agency chefs as Martin Berasategui, Jordi Cruz, Mey Hofmann, amon others
Jordi Butrón will give a lecture on “The accuracy of taste” included in the summer courses at Universidad de Barcelona ("Els juliols de la UB").
On 27th and 28th June 2007, there has been celebrated in Barcelona the 5ª semi-final of "El Cocinero del Año" in Barcelona. Xano Saguer was part of the jury in this event.

Tuesday, 30 January in the afternoon, prestigious chocolate firm Cacao Barry, officially presented his original "Or Noir" to representatives of the most important restaurants in Catalonia.
